• 8/17/09 - initial PVC order arrived!!!! YAY!! second batch en route, but at least we have most of it. will pick up SATURDAY 8/22 BEFORE MEETING - 930amish?
• Successful test build! The hut will be large and shady! (like Caleb)

Grey Water / Aquatic Sciences

• Grey Water: Subcommittee on Water Evaporation and Aquatic Sciences will develop a superior grey water system (Vaughn, Shannon)
• All parts acquired
• Tray, mast and drum are constructed
• Pulley and prop need to be attached and tested Test is good, need one more (different) carriage bolt for max efficiency
• Drum needs final lining on it (Tulle)
• Buying one extra piece of sheet metal to cut extra prop blades if we need them
• Grey-b-done!

On-playa transportation

• design Playa Surrey (D, C, V) - done, mostly
• make Playa Surrey
• determine # of single bikes to be brought to playa (5)
• Bits were boughten. Knowledge was obtained from an elder bike wizard at the Bike Oven.
• Found cheap leaf springs on teh interweb. $20.99 NOT BOUGHT
• Bikes will be welded this coming weekend (Aug 2), steering mechanism will be installed. Trailer construction will begin.
• Secure cushions to cart
